Born in 1925 in Primrose, NE, John William (JW) was a veteran of the US Navy having served in the Pacific Theater in WWII. While stationed in Okinawa, he served on the USS Sigourney destroyer ship.
Following the war he returned home and began his 40 year career with F.W. Woolworth’s corporation where he met his future wife June, to whom he was married for 65 years.
