Master Sergeant Michael Clark
About Michael
Master Sergeant Michael Clark proudly served in the U.S. Army for over 22 years, deploying five times to Afghanistan, Iraq, and Kuwait. He also took part in humanitarian missions in Nicaragua and Africa. When home, Mike worked in Operating Rooms at the Bone and Joint Hospital in Hartford, ECHN’s Manchester Memorial Hospital, and Vigilint, specializing in medical support.
Mike was a devoted husband, father, soldier, and friend. He had a contagious smile, a sharp sense of humor, and an infectious laugh. He lived life fully, loved deeply, and served selflessly. His patriotism was unwavering, and his commitment to family unmatched. In everything he did, Mike gave his all. He was a true American hero.
But even heroes are not immune to tragedy. On July 20, 2022, during a training exercise at Fort Gordon, Mike’s life was tragically cut short at the age of 41. He left this world too soon, but his legacy lives on – through the lives he touched, the example he set, and the love he shared.
Master Sergeant Michael Clark may no longer walk among us, but his spirit endures. His courage, laughter, and unwavering dedication remain etched in the hearts of all who knew him. He will always be remembered and never forgotten.
